University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice – Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters – Laboratory of controlled reproduction and intensive fish breeding, České Budějovice II

Cooperation with the University of South Bohemia continues with another project focused on energy saving.

For the South Bohemian Research Centre directly in České Budějovice, we have supplied a KUBÍČEK ROOTS blower unit, type 3D19C-050K in acoustic cover for indoor use and aeration membranes for small flows with a diameter of 30 mm.

The unit is located directly in the experimental hall at the Institute of Aquaculture and Water Protection in the laboratory of controlled reproduction and intensive fish breeding in České Budějovice.

The blower is used to aerate the experimental RAS system.

The RAS systems are mainly used for experimental feeding trials to evaluate growth rate, survival, morphometric changes and feed efficiency in different fish species.

By replacing the original blowers with new ones, we have achieved immediate energy savings of up to 50%.
