Health complex in Velké Losiny – Installation of the first floating island
At the beginning of October 2019, we installed the first test version of the so-called “floating island”, ie the assembly of the smallest KUBÍČEK blower unit, type 3D19T-050E, and a float with a suspended aeration systém.
The island fulfills its function during all seasons. It adds oxygen to the water, moves the water from the bottom to the surface in a width of about 8 – 10 meters and in winter prevents the water surface from freezing.
All this with a high efficiency of air oxygen transfer to water thanks to the type of unit used in combination with a fine-bubble aeration membrane.
