RAS – Fish farm Soběkury
The fish farm in Soběkury is a small RAS system, mainly breeding African catfish. In addition to selling live fish, it also offers its own products.
For the new expansion of the fish farm it was necessary to build a larger capacity biofilter.
Based on the dimensions of the biofilter, we designed a suitable type of blower and the right amount of EPDM aeration membrane.
Our blower also replaced the original small air sources used for aeration of the breeding tanks and another smaller biofilter, with the energy consumption now lower than the original solution.
The selected model of KUBÍČEK blower, type 3D19T-050E in a stainless steel anti-noise cover, is equipped with a 1.5 kW electric motor in a single-phase design, with a motor starter. It can thus be simply plugged into a standard socket (230V).
