University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice – Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters – Laboratory of Intensive Aquaculture, FROV JU Vodňany

Our cooperation with the University of South Bohemia continues with another custom-made equipment for the research project of the Laboratory of Intensive Aquaculture in Vodňany.

We designed the KUBICEK ROOTS blower type 3D19S-050E in stainless steel acoustic cover for outdoor use, in cooperation with KUBICEK fine bubble aeration diffusers type ATE65D, to provide both oxygenation and sufficient water movement in pontoon tanks – airlift principle.

Experimental floating plastic breeding tanks operating on the principle of IPRs (In-Pond Raceway system), used to diversify pond aquaculture. The tanks make use of existing pond infrastructure and allow for the controlled rearing of valuable fish species using pelleted feed during the growing season. In winter they can be used for the production of cold water fish species or as small chambers for chambering.

This is the first step in the development of freshwater multi-trophic aquaculture.
